Who's Up
For open mics & comedy nights

Who's up next?
Everyone knows.

Comics put their name in from their phones. You run the order with one thumb. The TV tells the whole room who's on, who's next, and how to get on the list.

The Lantern is a made-up comedy bar running on Who's Up: three shows, its own look, menu boards and four screens. Look around as if it were yours.

Live right now: a show running itself in our demo room

Try it like a comic would. No account, nothing to install. Your name comes off the list after ten minutes.

How it works

Three screens. One night.
Zero clipboards.

Make a room once and keep it for every show. Your room has its own address, its own list and its own TV.

📱

They sign up

Comics scan the poster by the door and put their name in. Their phone shows their spot and roughly when they're up, and keeps it updated all night.

🎤

You run it

Drag the order around, lock your closer, shuffle the bucket. When the show starts, it's Start and Next. Every time on every screen moves with you.

📺

The room sees it

Plug a laptop into the bar's TV. It shows who's on, who's next, crowd photos you okay, and reactions people send from their seats.

Real times, not a planRun long? Start late? Everyone's "up around" time slides on its own.
Waitlist that runs itselfSomebody bails, the next name moves up. No shouting.
Crowd pics, approved firstNothing hits the TV until you okay it. Location data is scrubbed.
Paper backupPrint the running order, the QR poster, or a blank sheet for when the wifi dies.
Every week, same roomWrap up the night, keep the list in past shows, open next week's.
No logins for comicsOnly the host signs in, with an email link. Everyone else just taps.
Pick a look

Your night,
your colours.

Every room picks a theme and a colour. The phones, the printouts and the TV all change together. Try one:

Screens

Every screen in the room.
One system.

The menu board over the bar, the promo TV by the door, the screen in the hallway. Run them all from the same venue account, and let them follow the night.

Follows the showWhen a show is on, every screen in the building can say "Now on stage" and "Up next". At intermission they go back to the menu.
Sold-out switchStaff mark an item sold out from their phone. Every menu board updates in a second. No new picture for one price.
Specials on a scheduleHappy hour starts itself. Upcoming shows appear with a sign-up QR already filled in for you.
Keeps playing offlineWhen the Wi-Fi drops, the screens keep their loops and their last state. When the network comes back, they catch up by themselves.

Pairing takes a 6-letter code. Open whosup.me/screen on any smart TV, Fire TV stick or browser, then type the code on your phone. No app to install.

Early-access bonus: included with the Venue plan while Screens is new.
